PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 5/1/2026
1. Who we are.
Sweet Leaf Finance LLC ("Sweet Leaf," "we," or "us") operates the websites at sweetleaffinance.com and portal.sweetleaffinance.com (each a "Site"). This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, what we share, and the choices you have. We respect your privacy. If you have questions, write to privacy@sweetleaffinance.com.
2. The information we collect.
(a) Information you provide. When you apply for financing or contact us, we collect what you choose to send — name, business name, email, phone, financial documents you upload, and the content of your messages.
(b) Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Sites, our service providers automatically collect technical information about your visit: IP address, browser type, device type, viewport, referring URL, the pages you view, the time of your visit, and similar telemetry. We collect this through the providers listed in Section 4.
3. How we use information.
We use your information to (i) respond to your inquiries and provide our services, (ii) underwrite and administer loan applications, (iii) operate, secure, and improve the Sites, (iv) comply with our legal obligations, and (v) detect and prevent fraud or misuse.
4. Service providers and third parties.
We use a small set of service providers to operate the Sites. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. The providers we use today are:
- Wix.com Ltd. — hosting, site analytics (frog.wix.com, panorama.wixapps.net), and the chat widget (engage.wixapps.net) on sweetleaffinance.com.
- Usercentrics GmbH — consent management platform on sweetleaffinance.com.
- Functional Software, Inc. ("Sentry") — error monitoring on sweetleaffinance.com.
- Google LLC — Google Fonts (font delivery only; no analytics) on portal.sweetleaffinance.com.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, FullStory, or Microsoft Clarity. If we add any analytics or advertising technology in the future, we will update this Policy and present a fresh consent prompt.
5. Cookies and similar technologies.
The Sites set a small number of strictly-necessary cookies (security, authentication, load balancing). Other cookies and similar technologies (analytics, chat) are only set after you accept them in the consent banner.
6. Your rights — California residents.
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt Out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. (We do not sell or share; you may still submit a request.)
- Right to Limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information.
- Right to Non-Discrimination for exercising any of the rights above.
To exercise these rights, write to privacy@sweetleaffinance.com or use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer. You may also designate an Authorized Agent in writing to act on your behalf. We will verify your request by matching the information you provide to information we already hold about you.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals automatically. If your browser
transmits a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing of
personal information, even though we do not currently sell or share personal
information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Notice at Collection (CCPA §1798.100(b)).
We collect the categories of personal information listed in Section 2 for the purposes listed in Section 3. We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We do not sell or share personal information.
8. Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83).
California residents may request, once per calendar year, a list of the third parties to which we disclosed personal information for those third parties' direct-marketing purposes in the prior calendar year. We do not currently disclose personal information for third-party direct marketing.
If you do not consent, please contact us by email at info@sweetleaffinance.com or by phone at 561-421-5195 instead of using the chat.
10. Security.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure; please choose a strong password and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
11. Children.
The Sites are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes.
We may update this Policy. We will indicate the date of the most recent change at the top of the Policy. Material changes will be highlighted and, where required, accompanied by a fresh consent prompt.
